Ruth is a retired educator and now spends her time volunteering and working with fabrics.
Since enrolling in an applied draping and design course at Syracuse University, she has been involved in craft art. Her interest deepened and served as therapy during the recuperation period from cancer. She broadened her skills by enrolling in Elinor Peace Barley’s Doll Maker’s Choice and Victorian classes and several classes on wool felt appliqué. Her interest lies in designing items such as purses, pillow, wall hanging or table cover.
