Marilyn is inspired by her rural surroundings on their tree farm, with floral’s being one of her favorite subjects, and especially the iris.
She enjoys abstract work on plastic Yupo paper, “wet the paper, throw some paint on and tilt it, shake and smack it to see what happens!” Her chosen watercolor paper is 140 lb. Arches and she uses the smooth side.
Her art has won Best in Show at art exhibitions and her work in included in may private collections.
