Guild House Gallery Jury Process

Artists/Craftspeople are to submit 2-3 works, of same or various media. All visible names /signatures must be covered. All works on paper must be protected by glass, Plexiglas, Print bags etc. All submitted works must have the creator's name and phone number attached to the back or bottom of the work, out of sight of the juror's. Only originals are to be submitted.
The jury that meets to critique works for entry into various displays will be composed of three persons, members and non-members of the Winchester Art Guild.
The person that meets and assists the submitting members with their works, will not be involved in the jury process.
All work submitted for jurying will be evaluated in three areas:
Design, Technique, and Originality.
The jury will meet at designated times of the year to evaluate new and reapplying artists on a quarterly basis.
Artists are to be aware that this process is a subjective one, and re-applications are welcomed and encouraged.
