Bobbie was drawing even before she could read or write, although she did not begin painting until later when her children were almost grown.
While living in Southwest Arizona she took classes, entered competitions, demonstrated for various art organizations in Arizona and California.
After years of hard work, trial and error, Bobbie says she is still learning. She works in oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, inks, etc. She enjoys landscapes, seascapes, still life, portraits of both people and pets.
Her latest interest is writing and illustrating children’s books. “It is my wish to paint as long as I can hold a paintbrush.”
