As a native of Eastern Kentucky, I have spent over forty years enjoying the natural beauty of the Daniel Boone National Forest and the Red River Gorge.
Having studied philosophy as one of my majors in college, I am well aware of the fact that we exist only for a moment in time on this earth. As a photographer I have aspired to record for the viewer a moment;
“a snap of the shutter”, of our earth’s
landscapes and wildlife.

The outdoors and all of its wonders has served as my chapel, my religious sanctuary, for who among us can create such wonders?
As you view my work, I challenge you to travel through it, to discover it's calling, to be “one with it” if only for a moment.
